Downloading it from the link will allow you to save it so that you do not have to download it through Windows Update each time you do a reinstall, or if you wanted to use the Download to create a slipstreamed Windows 7 SP1 installation disc.

Either you can backup and burn a dvd for future stand alone install....neverknow you might reinstall one day, save you an hour.
