    Mine's failed twice during the download.
    That happened to me a few times with the Vista SP1. Maybe the server is getting hit that hard.
    Strange i downloaded both files at 2.5MB/s....only a couple of minutes.

    I would assume they have more than one server, serving the world...

    Well that's stupid! Why not make seperate downloads
    They do have separate windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe and windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe installation files.

    Download details: Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932)
    Yep!

    x64=>903,2mb
    &
    x86=>537,8Mb

    I don't understand, why download this through the link when it's available through the "Windows Update"?
    Downloading it from the link will allow you to save it so that you do not have to download it through Windows Update each time you do a reinstall, or if you wanted to use the Download to create a slipstreamed Windows 7 SP1 installation disc.

    Either you can backup and burn a dvd for future stand alone install....neverknow you might reinstall one day, save you an hour.

    Slipstream Windows 7 SP1 into a Installation DVD or ISO File

    Just installed SP1 and I have this mscorsvw.exe running in the background using some 60-70% CPU. Is this a one-off or will it be there forever?
