Very Keen on Safina doing well - her brother was one of a kind - we'll miss him, not enough character around. Hewitt must have a chance, only a few points in their Queens encounter and Hewitt seems pretty hot-to-trot, if he stays fit i think he could pull it off.

Could not agree more about Morat. Saddly missed. I think Roddick in 4 or Hewit in 5. The serve (for Layton) will be the story. Either way it's great to see these "old" guys back in the mix.

Don't know moz backup - use FEBE

Currently checking FEBE. Never heard of it.

Better make this worthwhile - here are my beloved FF add-ons

    Very nice.

Why can't you close the only open tab? You could in 3.0.x.

cause it was useless.if u would closed the only tab u were left with a blank page to type an address, which u can do without closing the only tab as well.

by the way no major interface change rather than a + is added to add new tabs like ie.Bechmarks show its faster than 3.0.11 ,still no where near safari and chrome.I'll benchmark ie 8 also and edit.

    surprisingly ie8 was slightly faster!

You still can do it in 3.5 too, with this trick:
Open FF and go to about:config
Fine the browser.tabs.autoHide and set it to true.

I liked it the old way (blank page). Oh well.

Thanks John, but that just hides the tab bar.

Why would you like to see a blank tab bar without any tabs on it? Just curious.

Because I'm a government agent and part of a government conspiracy to ensure and protect the existence of blank tabs in Internet browsers.

On a serious note, I was just used to it. Geez...never imagined it would create such a tizzy.

I hate you so much... I don't want to see an x mark there when there is one tab left...

I tried to search throu the web if there was a mode to to what you need, but found only the mode to remove close button from all the tabs. Perhaps you can use ctrl+w to close them.
