IE9 Final to Launch 14th March
-
Doesn't IE9 use hardware rendering and FF4 software rendering? If that is the case, there probably won't be a definite answer (everyone has different hardware.)
In any case, security / privacy matters more to me than ms performance measures. So I'll be sticking with Firefox as my main and IE as backup, a very nice backup it will be though.
I'm interested to test it, but after the 14th because i want the RTW (the same case for Firefox 4)
I don't like to see comparisons, i've seen a couple so far, and one is saying that IE9 kicks FF4's behind, and the other, says the exact opposite! i'd like to test it myself to see who is the winner (in my book)
Don't know what you guys think

John, you d'man!
Thanks for the info...Here's hoping that the final release sorts out it's performance lag...

IE9 and FF 4 both have Hardware Acceleration options.

Then they're even in that respect, that's good to have clarified.
