These speculations could be true, but from my point of view, I guess there will be a lot of torrent links out there, waiting for you to download Windows 7 Home premium for free for more than three computers. Or, if you buy an official Windows 7 Home premium DVD and use a hack to install it on more than one computer, will somebody notice?

Well that was a short stay

    1st post and out.

anywho, thats kinda cool. i did notice the new agreement on the disk, i didnt read it though. thats some good news, to bad my roommates (parental types) computer sucks so bad. maybe a ram upgrade would help em, but they dont like when i experiment on their PC ... (i was curious how 7 would run, and my dad said "no")

That's probably the strongest possible statement Mods could make as to whether the forum rules against hacking/copyright infringment/stealing/theft/etc discussions are going to be enforced!

This is good news, considering Apple has been doing this for years (making Macs have lower TCO for multiple computers over multiple upgrades)

This news is welcome indeed. Unfortunately I didn't read this until today, as I pre-ordered Windows 7 Professional Upgrade yesterday...

Well you can always cancel your order, but wait and see if the Family Pack does come out.
