MS included their own first look at tabbed browsing with IE 7 there. You automatically saw that when first installing 7 there anyways being the default setting for IE 8 included.

Chrome is a rather half baked version of IE there where they simply placed the favorites renamed to bookmarks on the opposite but left off the menu bar for things like Chrome tools.

If chrome is a half baked version of IE8 why does it score so much better on every browser test out there and handle javascript so much better? Why does every tab operate in isolation? It keeps getting better and better and it was good when it came out in Sept. 2008. IE is nothing in comparison.

lmfao... I agree Chrome's Javascript engine and renderer is way superior than IE's :)...

When you really take a good look at it you'll notice right off it sadly lacks the options you would normally expect to find in other browsers. IE, Opera, FF, So far eeek all see maintainence options, builtin support, view settings, and other things lacking in Chrome.

It looks more the mirror reflection of IE with the menu, command, status bars not included.

I believe IE8 is one of the best browsers on the market. Its security features are among its primary strengths,

I use FF 3.5, no issues, usually fast. IE8 I use for banking, only browser that will accept my certs.

Have you tried the little add-on IE Tab, which among other things easily allows you to open a tab in Firefox which embeds internet explorer.

Microsoft should not try to promote a dead browser. It should bring it back to life and make it so good no other browser can even compete with it. Then IE9 or later, I will be back on Microsoft's side.
