It is not a server. Why do you ask? This would be just like Windows 7 now is. It is a home and office OS.

Any early requests for features/functionality you’re hoping makes it into Windows 8 client and server?

Yes. New filesystem, as NTFS4.1 is quite old now, and the HDD is the slowest parts in PC's now a days.
And also a new filesystem for SSD's, maybe some sort of database instead of clusters aso.
