Maybe not as quickly as a couple other places, but nothing has indicated they shouldn't get it sooner rather than later as well.

I think Vista took about a week to get to them when it RTM'd.

They should at least get it sometime before October.

[Edit: Looks like Vista may have taken two weeks from RTM to hit Technet/MSDN.]

I'd actually expect it still in July, or early August at the latest. It'll be surprising if they let it go longer than that, especially given that it'll be "out" via others by then.

Was kind of funny looking up the Vista dates. Guess it made it to torrents a good bit before the Technet/MSDN people got it, but I suppose those things happen.

    Quick Info :

Among 7100 and RTM over 12.000 bugs are going to be adressed.

Most common "bug" is from people installing Vista drivers where they couldn't find a w7 one. Please stick with what W7 provides or only if Manufacturer has tagged their drivers to W7 support.

I'm sorry but i'm beginning to be pessimistic with the rtm to be signed-off on monday considering that the last known build-candidate was compiled only last thursday. This means the select group of engineers have only 3 days to check on this 7271 build for showstoppers. I don't know how good and fast are these people in catching bugs, but to me 3 days may not be enough if build 7271 is a build to be considered as rtm-candidate.

I honestly hope i'm wrong, otherwise the signing-off date of the rtm could be anyone's guess.
Some builds come out daily....So I would think 3 days is PLENTY of time!!

Is not much but, at least we have an Official confirmation about RTM will be availiable in the end of the month...

Thanks for the post...remember folks that different types of people affilated with Microsoft will get the RTM at different times. WZor still states the RTM to sign-off on Monday...before we start crying about waiting till the end of the month, lets see what happens on Monday. By the way if it signs off on Monday, a leak we come due shortly...(look at 7264...only the top 18 partners got it and it literally flew out their door on to the interent)
