hmmm - seems like tesco have run out of home premium - darn it

also availabilty of ultimate depends on your post-code - wtf? so i can't get it if i live in the wrong part of town??
Hi Megabyte, Tesco are still showing the Home Premium on their Website at £44.97 plus Clubcard points. I cannot think what they mean by being dependant on your postcode though, unless there are some areas of the country that they don't deliver to.

Ultimate isn't part of the preorder deal just Home Premium and Professional.

I didn't think you were going to upgrade
I wasn't but what with this offer coming and a benefit being back dated I ordered before I could tell myself I still couldn't afford it and another windfall got swallowed up by bills and debts.

I don't get out so my computer is my hobby and keeps me sane, or should I say saner

PC World still has the offer untill August 9th. Just placed my order.

Do they not do an upgrade pre-order?

Don't forget though that in the UK it doesn't have a browser included so you need to download one before hand.

good tip joan - luckily i've got browser install files stashed away (although i suppose by october there will be new browser version needing to be stashed).

how is the average joe/jane-public user going to cope though?

although i suppose mr or mrs average would buy from oems who would preinstall firefox or summat?
