    I've just ordered 3 copies of 7 pro and just realised, can these be installed on a new PC, as opposed to upgrading from xp/vista?

    If they are the E versions then yes, they are for clean install only.
    Apparently MS cant sell upgrade versions in the EU.

    It had me wondering for a mo, looking at the amazon website it mentions xp/vista against the Home/Pro versions but not Ultimate.
