Is it me or has the price gone up?

Looks like some of the vendors have run out of their allocated presale quantitiesa and have switched into offering thew standard cost (or minimal saving at any rate) instead.

In noticed this on amazon this morning, now 180 quid for pro, yesterday 90. Uplift on ebuyer also. Shop around tho. I noticed PC world and staples to name but 2 are still offering at the original presale price i.e. around the 90 quid mark (or 45 for Home Prem).

Looks like this bad boy is selling like hot cakes :)

Quite a few are still taking it at a lower price but ebuyer/amazon appear to have upped theres!

Apparently Win7 outsold in the first 8 hours for preorders more copies than Vista did in its entire 17 weeks!

Do I still need one per PC or did I hear that you can install it in more than one?

I have read of this, but i don't think it applies to the preorder.

In other words there may well be one in October or therafter, but you wont benefit the pre order prices.

If you want to take the gamble that the family pack will be cheaper than ordering say 3 copies of the preorder price then it's a risk to take. But you wont know until later - most likely after preorder sales are long gone.

The leaked pricing for the family pack is exactly the same as ordering 3 copies at the pre-order price, Of course leaked is not official.
