    Ivy Bridge should be interesting. Apparently they support DDR3 RAM and PCI-E3.0. CPU sockets are large enough though.

    I can't imagine needing or wanting 12 SATA ports in a non-enterprise server, but now I'm nit-picking.

    OH MY GOD!! I just wet my pants.

    Yes ivy certainly will be interesting.

    Though I'm concerned about layout of the DIMMs, unless we're in for a host of new air coolers or flat style coolers like the stock Intel coolers are going to be the norm for a while.

    They had problems with routing issues IIRC so they put the RAM slots on both sides.

    That MSI board is fine ! Things will be looking up soon as well when AMD finally launches the 8 cores, it's going to get real fun.
