    why oh why didn't they include it in the RTM? i didn't even see it in windows update

    i am pleased that it works in chrome though :)

    I'm glad they didn't include it in RTM because I want the freedom to choose what internet plugins I want, I think Flash does the job perfectly so why need something else?

    Bear in mind silverlight technology is still new, flash has been around a while.

    Forward thinking? Please, they barely did something completely new with Silverlight. And as for Flash, they implemented a whole lot of new stuff in Flash 10, like loading things off to the GPU and much much more. Microsoft is just forcing people a new standard down the troat even though there's already something called Flash.
