Firefox 5.0 released

Nope, it's addressed with v6 not v7.

I downloaded an it says it's Beta and find a bit buggy.

On the official Firefox webpage only 4.01 is available.

This is the RC (release candidate). Should go final (RTW) on July 21.

They were talking about Chrome having a memory leak on the last page.
And no, FF5 will install on top of FF4 like how FF4 installed over my FF3.6.
