Be at peace with what you have then...
-
yeah like that will happen...

When was MS ever reasonable???
Oh the cost of DOS wasn't excessive. Not since then though.

nope...however you are meant to uninstall it once your subscription ends
The keys that register the software do not expire, even if your Technet subscription does.
-
Be aware that TechNet license keys are for development and test environments only. Unless otherwise specified in the EULA it would be considered piracy to install for personal or production use.
Please don't think I'm trying to enforce or be negative but a lot of people purchase TechNet or MSDN subscribtions without knowing that.
I love these restrictions - how many computers one is supposed to have then? Say one works from a home office. Then what, one has to have one PC for testing the RTM and a completely another to read his email? And god forbid the kids will touch it? And how exactly this can be enforced?

This is not a restriction, it is a term of condition in the EULA ... as far as restricting usage .. a good strong log on password should do the trick nicely.
