Yes and Yes. But it takes about 7-10 daya for your purchase to be processed. You will receive a registration code(s) and an inital DVD kit (if you requested DVD distro).

Before you ask , your activation keys for the MS products you download from Technet are permament (every new person ask that ).

    Small update from Brandon LeBlanc
ALL - Windows 7 RTM has not been delayed. We have not yet announced RTM. As the blog post states above, I have nothing new to add regarding RTM today over that we're on track to RTM the last 2 weeks in July. This post is simply to let people know *when* they will be able to get the RTM bits. Again, this post is not announcing that we have RTM'd.
    Thanks,
    Brandon
Seams there still keeping quite on hitting RTM

Hmmmmm... maybe it was because I was a VL signup.....? But it did take 7 calendar days for me to get "my letter" and that nifty CD case.

They were true to their word on how long ot would take...

    Hi there
Look for various Promo codes available on the Net. These can save you (depending on area) as much as 40%.

This definitely makes signing up a "No Brainer".

I believe W7 RTM will be available to technet suscribers on or around Aug 13 - only about 3 weeks away and it will be the FULL version not the "E" hobbled version. You'll get Ultimate as well if the same options are available as for previous OS'es.

You can get full versions of Office, W2008 server etc etc so definitely well worth joining.

I didn't have to supply a VAT number -- I imagine this would only be required if its a Company PO or you are buying it on behalf of a business.

    Cheers
