The windows 7 RTM for Technet does not expire.

Microsoft Technet gives ten keys that can be reactivated at any point, these keys are genuine and all O/S and applications pass the windows genuine test, they do not expire at any point as the keys are for development use and should not be used for general use on home workstations unless otherwise permitted to do so.

Some Corporate companies hold different licence agreements with Microsoft Technet which may allow you to use certain software being O/S or Applications such as Office suite, please check with your corporate licence manager/department.

Thank you Mike. That is a very clear and precise statement. I only wish they would desribe in more detail what you can and cannot do, or get in your Management page.

This issue has been hashed and re-hashed. Home use if generally acceptable. Read the fine print if you are worried.
TechNet "is" ok for use on home computers
