    The tab shapes are a bad idea, and remind me of one reason that I stick to FF rather than Chrome: with 20+ tabs open, I can at least partially read the labels in FF but not in Chrome because Chrome wastes space with the inefficient tab shapes.

    The trouble is, it annoys me every time I use it.
    Right. Try to scroll down some online newspapers with JavaScript on.
    It's jerky. I usually have it turned off and only turn it on if it's really necessary.
    Seems to be safer (?) also.

    I believe that it does make Internet surfing safer.

    It is supposed to stop XSS attacks.
    It should also reduce the chances of js malware installation (unless you happen to authorise the malware routine).

    Since I swapped from IE6 to Firefox and NoScript (about 5 or 6 years ago) I rarely see malware in my AVG Virus Vault. :)
