Where have you been LOL. It's been on 5.0 officially it's now on 6 as of today. 8 is just a beta currently.

they've copied Google Chrome's rapid release cycle, which i think was a mistake for many reasons.. They should've just kept there old release cycle, it was fine. You can't rush perfection. But thanks to that, Im with Google Chrome now (v.14 beta) and so far it's been great.

Cool Thanks a lot. I did this once, but I didn't remember all the details.
    No problem. :)

I hope the description was clear/detailed enough.

If there are no obvious advantages, I'm sticking with 3.6.18 until there is something definite worth upgrading to.

Beware of the latest update 2

Just tried the latest update for FF8a.
Still breaks more things than it fixes (it's better than the previous update).

They may as well give up on releasing updates for FF8a.
Every FF8a update I've tried has broken the program.
They don't even state what the update is supposed to fix (so that you can check the results).

Reinstalled FF8a from the original installer.
    Everything works again. :)
