I got the x64 version without tools, to install in VirtualBox just fine. I just don't like Win8 as presented.
Not super impressed so far. I did a full install on a spare pc had laying around. I can't figure out where the Heck the installed pograms are listed (like the start orb is now), Do you have to do a search to find everything? Other than that it is a lot like the Gnome3 or Unity desktop envirements in Linux, I mean ALOT. Looks like it would be great on a touch screen or tablet, not so much on PC. Just seems I waste more time trying to find where the program is than actually running it LOL. Just my 2 cents so far.

I'm a bit sat on the fence too at the moment. It's going to need some time to grow on me I think.

Here are some pics of it running, I can't even figure out how to look at the device manager or computer info LOL! Damn learning curve!!!!

im trying to install and it asks for a product key (why?)
where do i get it?
That is weird! It never asked me. I think some folks who are going VM had this problem. Either way have a look here:
Windows 8 developer preview build genuine Product Keys
I know we are not supposed to post keys, but these were given by MS for the free to all Developer build. If I broke the rules please let me know.
Geeve
doesn't work. when you installed it did you asked to enter a key?
well i tried running the installation from windows 7 (not in order to upgrade but to do a clean install on another partition)
maybe that's what causing this. i'll try to boot from the installation via DOK or CD. thanks for you help.
