=S I heard somewhere that those 'MSDN/TechNet Product Keys' do not work if you lose/cancel your subscription, is that true? I mean like if I have a subscription, and used the keys I could get with it to activate W7, would it deactivate it if I lost the subscription?
No...the keys you get are Retail keys. They do not expire at all.

Technically the keys don't expire and Windows won't de-activate...however you would be in violation of the license agreement and would be "evaluating" products for which you are no longer allowed to "evaluate" if your subscription were to lapse. Just saying.

And technically the licenses are for "eval" purposes. An "eval" is not installing the OS on multiple computers and then using them for all of your computer needs over the next few years. An eval copy is more like,
1). Some piece of software is not working on Windows 7
2). Install Win7 into virtual machine software
3). Try to install said piece of software.
4). experiment until it works
5). Delete the virtual machine.

Any HULU Plus Subscribers out there?
I'm just wondering if $7.99 is worth the upgrade to HULU Plus. It seems to me that if they're going to charge a fee they can get rid of the commercials. Does anyone recommend any other services or is HULU Plus a good upgrade?

Time of Day for Windows 7 on MSDN
we all know that MSDN is going to get 7 on august 6.... the question is, what time of day. Based on the fact that RC was released at 10:02 PM eastern time, thats when I would venture my guess. Remember, MS releases are done in UTC time, so its possible for it to hit as early as 8 pm eastern time,...
