Even if you weren't an Apple fan at all, he changed the scope of personal computing to the level of what it is today. We wouldn't have the current and continuing systems we have today without that innovation and subsequent competition.

The man was a true innovator and will be missed by all as his technology touched all our lives in some form, whether Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod, or iTunes.

    He will be missed.

    RIP Steve.

Heck, I've never used an Apple in my life (only eaten one lol)...but I strongly suspect that Microsoft Windows wouldn't be what it is today without Steve Jobs. Mac OSX, from all I've seen of it, is really beautiful and elegant (I'm talking purely about aesthetic appearance here, not performance), and Windows Vista and especially 7 clearly followed suit and spiffed up their GUIs in a similar way. Yay!

I quite agree; I'm no great fan of the Apple, but the world will be a little sadder with the loss of a great innovator.
