    I found this out the hard way about a week ago. I barely use gadgets, but I found out that performance data gadgets are very useful (Intel TB gadget, Processor usage, weather). When I had an idea of a cool gadget to add, I searched WinLive then BAM. only 20 gadgets. WTF. So yeah, RIP gadget. You were barely used, but you were very useful when you are

    I disliked gadgets from the start so I just disabled them as I much prefer a clean desktop.

    Personally I don't think they'll be missed, but it's good of you to post the link for those people who do like to use them.

    I tried a few gadgets back when Ben Franklin was in dippers and found nothing but trouble and haven't used them seance.

    Lol I'm like the opposite. I use System Monitors gadget which shows each core in my quad cores usage in percentage, RAM usage, and external and internal ip address. Then I use the built in weather gadget to check the weather. Also, I use the Vista Notes Gadget in 7, Calendar, and Currency Converter to convert between local and US currency.
