Meh. If you've got worries about someone finding out your "shady search queries", you've got bigger problems. How does this help? It conveniently links all your searches - ever - to your google account. That right there smells like it's doing exactly the opposite.

Google toolbar not remembering searches
My laptop has Win 10 with Edge and IE11. The last couple of days the google toolbar in IE11 doesn't remember past searches or suggest searches as you type. I've gone thru the search settings and nothing seems amiss. On my desktop it works as it should. Any ideas?

Google searches hanging
Have just installed on my new build - Asus P8Z77-V i5 3570K 8GB 2100MHz RAM 7 Home 64bit. All updates went without a hitch and I have got my security on plus the usuals CC MBAM SAS Adobe Flash etc But am now experiencing the machine hanging on a Google search for example I tried the AS SSD...
