    Metro UI is another vista. But it is worse than ever before! I don't want to convert my PC to a tablet!

    Yeah, Metro UI is ridiculous for the desktop. I am asking you a question : Will we be able to remove the Metro UI in Final Windows 8?

    I agree with you, Vista is a good OS. As I listened to all of the complaints against Vista I was bewildered. The only problem I experienced was with a few softwares that did not have upgraded drivers for it.

    I have Vista Ultimate x64 on my backup pc and I also have a backup image of it on this pc.

    I have no idea what Metro is but since I am not interested in anything but desktops at the moment I really don't care.

    What is getting my attention is the Asus UX21 Ultrabook. Because its deput is relatively new I will wait until its more fully developed before deciding whether to purchase one or not. However, I am in NO HURRY. The desktop is all I want, all I need.
