I never owned either a Samsung or Hatchi hard drive, but reducing the number of contenders is never good news for buyers.
There's still Toshiba who recently acquired Fujitsu's hard drive business for notebook and external drives.
However, Seagate is still the powerhouse is the business now have acquired both Maxtor and Samsung's hard drive divisions.
I used to like Maxtors...until Seagate bought them out.
Hum agree got rid of my Samsung well it's a spare but the Seagtaes knock it into a coked hat. Mind you withthis deal going on one wonders what will happen?
