Just download the "tiny" ISO from crucial (linked in this thread). Burn a CD and firmware upgrading appears quick and straightforward for most - it was for me.
I did all four of mine with drives which had been in use since last August. I'd have felt better if they were brand new drives, since any serious glitch might have had me scrambling to find a temporary replacement. All went well, though, and I have not heard of one person having a serious problem doing this. If the drive is in use then Windows will see it as new hardware when you boot up, but that's about it. :)

Since transferring to the SSD I've found the Reliability Monitor index update hasn't updated. Anyone experienced this?
