    I'm sure anyone else here will also be kicking their heels a little at seeing that type of statement regarding a now long outdated browser except for those who still run one of the older versions of Windows like 98 or 2000 where that would be a hard to replace as far as IE is concerned.

    IE 7 and certainly IE 8 were written for XP and newer hindering some older network setups to some extent. In developing locations you are apt to see far more usage of the older versions still in use by smaller businesses in particular there while most large corporatations are a bit more updated having a larger budget for networking and the like.
