And? Microsoft has branches worldwide. Nothing's stopping them from bringing this promotion outside of the US.
Nope, nothing stopping them, but maby they just dont want to,maby dont see a good ROI by doing it outside America.....and maby because of all the love the EU has shown them, they figured, screw them.

    Now please stop...

I am fairly confident that no one at SF works for MS in marketing or PR. Certainly not wwoods. Three weeks ago, no one here knew that this event was planned. No one here knows that no corresponding event is scheduled for other world markets.

    Maby, maby not.

Because MS is a American company........
Oh. I guess Coca Cola should stay out of events worldwide other than those in America.
Oh wait... is that the German world cup I remember?

I also guess Virgin should leave America ASAP as that is a British company founded by a British man; and stop doing 'Virgin Galactic' there. Shame you won't be able to book a holiday to space.

Just because it has American roots doesn't mean everything it does should be limited to the US of A.

Congrats and welcome to the forums!
Maybe they don't have enough Pro versions to give away.

Considering that it costs me at least $30-$40 to get to the closest site to my residence, I think I will pass. I would have loved to attend one of these. But living in nowhere North Carolina doesn't help.
