Great, well maybe I will see you there.
Just attended the Denver launch and they handed out "Ultimate".
CAN'T WAIT TO GET HOME AND GET IT INSTALLED.
If anyone has any spare's, I'd love one. Just incase my Uni doesn't allow me one.
Seriously, living in the middle of nowhere sucks... Minneapolis is the closest place and their party is today!! Why didn't I read this earlier?! (Minneapolis is a 5 hour drive away)
I just attended the event in Minneapolis today. I signed up for the developers track. Afterwards they handed out Windows 7 Ultimate. The DVD package on the back says 32 and/or 64-bit disc(s) inside, cool. Opened it, and only the 32 bit DVD is in there! Everyone received the same package. Come on Microsoft, we’re developers! Now I still have to buy the 64 bit version. Dirty dogs.

Wasting time in Minneapolis…
Same here, attended the Minneapolis launch and the media is only 32-bit. I wonder though, would the key work on either version? Is it just a matter of obtaining 64-bit media and using the key from the 32-bit sleeve?
Keys are indeed supposed to be independent of version.
Whatever key they gave you with 32-bit should work with the equivalent 64-bit as well.
I hope one million people complain about this 32-bit thing. So, by November, when I go to the event in DC, I will get the 64-bit version.
I do not want to spend the $10 that MS will charge me when I call 1-800-microsoft and order the 64-bit DVD.
