You mean you don't have to use them for the French version?
The English and French keys and interchangeable (i.e. you can use the french keys on the english version and the english keys on the french version). In short, you get 4 keys that will work with both french and english as well as 32/64-bit versions.

I noticed the French version.
I woke up this morning and finally had my MSDNAA login... so now I'm downloading the x64 English version. Nice to know, though, if any of my friends wants a serial I might just help them out :)

My college this semester decided not to renew their MSDNAA subscription this year for whatever cheap ass reason 
...but finding this thread made up for that and I thank you all for the info and masterB for starting this thread because now I have my shiny new copy of Windows 7 pro x64 that cost me 19$
