Do you really expect a reliable answer??? I dont think anyone here works for MSDN/AA.. Usually within a week or so...
Well it seems they just started verifying if someone is a student recently and I was wondering if people could tell me how long it took for their verification. I wasn't expecting some definite timetable, just a rough idea of how long it would take.

^I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who didn't receive an opt-in option.

I am a legitimate student too...

I registered for the acm two days ago, my payment when through and it does not give me an option to "opt in" for the MSDN/AA. I called the acm to see what the deal is. The person said that they have received a large number of people signing up for the acm under student accounts and they sorting it out I guess. And they hope to have the MSDN/AA access back up early next week...
I am a student and I do not see how they will be able to confirm it just by me giving my student id, are they really going to contact every school for every person that signed up? There thousands of people who know about this deal now and im sure thousands have signed up...

If I want to D/L multiple versions of Win7.. 32 - 64 - English - etc. - maybe the same in another language... Do I have to actually do a complete D/L??

Doesn't each ISO come with both (all) versions? Can I just take the Shopping cart thru to the Serial Number page and then not complete the download? (Save HDD Space?)

In simple terms... can I just burn one Install disc and then use the different SNs for each different Install?

You will be able to install the english version for x64 with the keys for any other language, it doesnt matter which key you take, but it needs to be an x64 key. when it goes for the language tou dont have to install every time a new windows when you want to change it. ill posted a way to change the language with the languagepack in this post.

So, if I understand you correctly, I need to D/L One Copy of any 32 bit and One Copy of any 64 bit (example - both English) and then Just register (Buy) any other language I want to the shopping cart.. Grab the S/N Key and then cancel the D/L. Next, using the newly Grabbed keys I can then reinstall the same disk on another machine... Then use you your way to change the language (English) to another language... or leave it as English!

    Correct???

Yes. But i think the 32 and 64bit keys are interchangable, you can use a 64bit key in a 32bit and so on.
