    Looks too basic. Hopefully it will have all the good colouring but it will just look like a slanted coloured window.

    Exactly the words that I was going to use. Personally, I always feel that changing a logo is a bad idea. The entire concept behind it is to have an image that people instantly relate to. Once that is established, great care should be taken with any changes in it.

    Think of how Pepsi or Coca-Cola have dealt with this. They have redesigned their packaging and bottles, but the basic logo itself remains pretty much as it has for many decades.

    Obviously, the Windows logo has been updated, but it has essentially remained the same, as far as the basic design and colors.

    ...it really does look like some backwater company decided to create a logo that 'looked like' the windows logo doesn't it?
