Still don't get what Mozillas problem is?
If MS didn't exist would there be a firefox?, surely the popularity of a MS operating system is only good for firefox, despite the fact that MS load it with there own browser?

Just to add to this debate

The way I understand this is ...

Due to the debacle over the Windows 7 E editions, that made it technically difficult to upgrade a system with IE installed, and Microsoft's decision to provide "full for Upgrade" pricing the pre-orders are held at this price.

However, with the changes with the addition of the selection menu for browsers this allows the upgrade option to be offered again.

When these versions are finalised the pricing structure will return to normal.

I'm sure I have this in writing somewhere direct from Microsoft and will post back with a link If I can locate it

    Update
Pre-order Windows 7 by August 31st and save big!

For a limited time, when you pre-order the full version of Windows 7, you’ll only have to pay the upgrade price. This offer only lasts until August 31st—so act now to get a great deal on the best Windows yet.

The reason why we are getting it so cheap is because by the time the EU have finished telling MS what they can't put on their own OS we'll be left nothing more than a DOS boot up screen.
    Indeed...LMAO

I am afraid from 1st Sept - if you pay the UK upgrade price - you get the upgrade License.

If you want the full version for the upgrade price - better hurry.

Well, if Microsoft didn't exist Linux would be having a field day, and we'd all have free operating systems. By the way, I do use Ubuntu as well.

       Note
Let's keep politics out of this discussion. It is to hot of a subject, and is not needed.

Already pre-ordered my Professional for £99.
Me too, and it was an E version, so I guess we'll automatically get a normal Professional?
