I avoid that place as much as possible. I only go there if there is something that I can't find elsewhere. It's pretty rare that I go near the store.
Where I am, everyone I know says the same thing, including me:
"I hate the people in there. Everywhere you look, there's a person breathing down your neck, trying to sell you overpriced junk."
Every damn time I go in there, there's some idiot, within 2 minutes of being in there asking if I need help. I can't tolerate that crap. If i'm looking through CD's, i'm sure I can figure out if you have what I want or not.
Our store has way too many people trying to sell stuff. There's at least one salesperson per aisle.
The practices that they pull on people buying computers is outright evil. I've never bought one there, and never would, but i've heard the stories about them putting crap on it before you leave the store. The Geek Squad thing is a joke also. I really don't need you to come to my house to put in a hard drive or a DVD drive. If I'm in there and buy something like that, there's a good chance I know what i'm doing.
They just don't seem to understand that people don't "Like" that kind of thing. Leave people the hell alone and they might be more inclined to go into your crappy store.
THAT is the biggest problem with the store here.....too many people doing nothing and getting paid for it.
Someone needs to smack that dumbass door greeter too. Most worthless job in the place. Cut out some of this crap and they could save themselves a bunch of cash.
