The root question is why are you all using Flash? (Flame proof suit on...)

On a more serious note, I can't wait until HTML5 (or 6, or 7...) finally puts Flash in the dust bin.

HTML5 won't eliminate Flash until websites using Flash adopt it...will it?

If "idiots" didn't use Flash, for everything on their websites, we wouldn't have to have it.
Our PCs would be more secure when surfing the Internet too.

Correct but $$ talks (but it will take time). Would a company pay to create Flash based content or use open source/lower cost options, especially after all major browsers are able to use HTML5?

Add Google / YouTube support for HTML5 into the mix and place your bets.

I know what my employer will use...

Gah! ... I just dont' know who's behind this

Webroot highly recommends that users opt-in ... Adobe patches critical security flaws, introduces auto-updating mechanism « Webroot Threat Blog

I don't use Webroot, but I once tried it for a year. Their bogs are okay, as I do subscribe to them.
