The Free Software Foundation is taking measures to deter IT decision makers from installing Windows 7. The foundation contacted 499 of the top Fortune 500 companies (Microsoft being the one excluded), and warned that upgrading to Windows 7 will result in a higher dependency on Microsoft. Instead, they encourage that the companies use GNU/Linux on systems.
That's just silly. Why choose anything else over an OS that works as well as Windows 7? Sorry FSF but I'll gladly depend on MS...

I'll use Linux when an OS is created that's actually worth using over 7, and since that's not on the horizon, I'll keep using Windows.

The difference between Microsoft and FSF is that Microsoft actually listens to us. When we complained about Vista, they made kicka** Windows 7. When people complain that Linux and some GNU software is too complex to use, the FSF doesn't care. You've got the code, the FSF thinks everyone is a pro programmer and tells you to do it yourself.

I was going to file a formal complaint/protest/law suit against Microsoft too.

Then I realized I had nothing to complain/protest/sue about, I like Microsoft products.

I wonder if I can sue them for making me happy?
They've been sued for everything else.
