i like it i use google for most of there products the only bad feedback i am seeing is the "drive" application on android smartphone/tablets i will try it as soon as i free some memory up on mine. i used to use docs but removed it because of memory issues. docs works rather well when used in a web browser on android (opera my choice at the moment, rumors have it chrome is not long now for smart-phones) 5GB is ample from google for documents etc in my opinion.

Difference in online and local storage (from google help page Difference in online and local storage - Google Drive Help )

When a file’s storage usage in Google Drive on the web differs from the amount of space it uses on your computer’s hard drive.

The storage space that a file uses in Google Drive on the web may differ from the amount of space it takes on your computer’s hard drive. Differences online and on your local hard drive typically happen when there are multiple versions of the same file or someone shared a file with you.

    Multiple versions

When there are multiple versions of a file, more storage space is used in Google Drive on the web than on your computer.

This is because Google Drive on the web stores all past versions of a file. Versions that you've chosen not to automatically delete Automatic deletion of file versions - Google Drive Help take up storage space. The Google Drive folder on your computer stores and allows you access only the most recent version of a file.

    Shared items

Files that someone has shared with you don’t take up storage space in Google Drive on the web. If you’ve chosen to sync anything shared with you to the Google Drive folder on your computer, they’ll take up storage space on your computer’s hard drive.

i quite like the go back in time feature it has,

    Go back in time.

Google Drive tracks every change you make—so when you hit the save button, a new revision is saved. You can look back as far as 30 days automatically, or choose a revision to save forever.

im still waiting for mine to be activated...

    Google Drive

Google Drive isn't too bad in my opinion. It's got more space than Dropbox and has the same sync abilities. I also like the integrated docs editor like in SkyDrive.
