This thread reminds me of those “pundits” who are declaring that the desktop is dead.

If the desktop is on its deathbed than Nvidia’s development of IT and the whirlwind of interest that it is causing is in vain, to say the least. But is it in vain? I say nein, nein, nein!!

Most laptop owners buy a newer, more powerful laptop every 2-3 years. It’s wasteful, and the desktop PC still has the advantage in this area.

Whatever Nvidia’s IT is, I am almost certain that it is intended for the desktop.

Too much I'd settle for 680. This is a war between nVidia and AMD. Either could care less about the consumer.
