    Nvidia Announces GeForce GTX 690 Dual-GPU Video Card


    Delivering the keynote address at the GeForce LAN/Nvidia Game Festival in Shanghai, Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang announced the company's news video card, the GeForce GTX 690.

    So, "no kill like overkill" eh. What do you guys with those multi card setups use these things for, outside of games? Price-performance benefits don't strike me as worth it, yet.

    Outside games? Folding@home, benchmarking and bragging if any of those things floats people boats.

    That's about it. These things exist solely for gaming enthusiasts really.
