Honestly, if they ever opened regedit.exe they would crash the entire system!
SourceThe FBI has recently formed a secretive surveillance unit with an ambitious goal: to invent technology that will let police more readily eavesdrop on Internet and wireless communications.
The establishment of the Quantico, Va.-based unit, which is also staffed by agents from the U.S. Marshals Service and the Drug Enforcement Agency, is a response to technological developments that FBI officials believe outpace law enforcement's ability to listen in on private communications.
A Guy
I have this picture in my head when the average american opens a webpage, the server gets like 10 requests: one from him, 9 from a bunch of 3-letter government agencies. I'm sure there's a Yo Dawg joke in there somewhere...
And the brilliant part of this is they don't really have to have any of this technology, they just have to 'say' they have it, or better yet, have someone else say they have it. The public paranoia will take of the rest.
I'm glad they're keeping it quiet.

Hopefully they will catch themselves (gov agencies) since they have their noses in everything!
