I got my package. I have one question, where are the keys for the OS? lo

EDIT: NVM, I was too overwhelmed I didn't read the piece of paper that said it's for both 32bit and 64bit.

Dear Microsoft, I'm forever your slave.
    Don't forget it's for 32 or 64 bit

Question, if you activate it on x64 are you able to use it with x86 (and it just de-activates the x64 install?)

    Activation confuses me.

If you install on one architecture you would be expected to unnstall this before installing and activating another

    1 key = 1 install

Makes sense, just making sure it wasn't bound to that specific type forever.

I think the main confusion arises because people see two physical media and assume that the media is the important thing rather than the licence key which is in fact what you purchase

The main confusion for me was the lack of information on the key itself, I understood that their was only one key (two would have been nice but hey, free either way!).

I just didn't know if it was bound to x64 if I used it with x64, meaning it could no longer activate a x86 install. Which you cleared up (thank you). :)

why does it say the 32bit the /signature/ edition, and the 64bit is just that, 64 bit, not 64bit signature edition...

Is there something in a signature edition not in the 64 bit edition....

suppose i'll have to install them both and see whats different.

No, there's not. It has nothing extra compared to the TechNet RTM or the retail boxed versions. No extra wallpapers or screensavers, nothing.

Only extra is Steve Ballmer's signature.
