It looks as plain and ugly as the UI formerly known as Metro.

Linux CENTOS 7 / various Windows OS'es and servers

Hi but what WTFIT!

Who is actually in charge of these organisations.

Who really disseminates this sort of B/S.

Even the cleaning lady would know that this is a piece of B/S. (Is this another "Deal" crafted by the organisation I hate most on this planet -- ACC---ure or as we call it Accidenture.)

Once they infest your organisation they are almost impossible to get rid of (like cockroaches) but it IS possible (with difficulty) -- just make sure your boss doesn't like GOLF as this horrible organisation sponsors the Ryder Cup event.

Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit

A dying company almost always comes out with a "new look" and some "new PR" in an attempt to hide the fact they are completely out of ideas for new products that really work in the market place. They repackage the old ideas and call them "fresh", "new", "exciting", All the while blanking out that calling the same old same old a new name adds nothing of value and doesn't make the old new or better.

Unfortunately, Microsoft has billions of cash on hands so their race to the bottom can last far too long. I am quite confident that they can and will finally reach the bottom. Especially since their managers insist on fixing what isn't broken and forcing their pathetic ideas onto the rest of us. Sadly, Microsoft will join a long list of once great companies who thought they controlled the market and found the market had moved out from under them long before the end.

Microsoft logos through the years (pictures)

Over the course of 37 years, Microsoft has had five corporate logos. They changed quickly in the early years, but then the company held steady from 1987 until -- today. Ahead of a big wave of major product rollouts this fall, including Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, the Surface tablet, and the next version of Office, Microsoft has updated its logo once again, after 25 years of holding steady.

It's most proberly the best they could come up with using ms paint , it's unbelievably poor, but MS are to tight arsed to out source and come up with some fresh ideas, plus they will end up in court for years to come after stealing someone else's logo then claiming it was their idea from the beginning

One of the poorest re-designs I've ever come across
