Hi Nigel, for me, something thats tracking my cookies and slowing down my browser isn't less than a spyware. Read the 1st paragraph here.
tried to install it and vipre av has blocked it.

In my opinion it is strong, but heck thats just an opinion.

All I care is that it catches things (which it does) and it doesn't slow me down (which it doesn't).

I dont want any additional toolbars. Think about the novice ppl who dont know the difference about good and bad. If they install such toolbars, their Av should detect it at the time of installation.

Answer 1: The toolbar does affect IE8 and Firefox only.

Answer 2: Vipre caught the registry because the toolbar installer is 1st trying to make its place in the startup folder. The installation was failed due to Vipre.

Answer 3: Yes it cannot spread by itself. But as i said, its you who knows about adwares and spywares. What about the millions of Windows users who dont know the difference. That's why we install AV. Right?

I hate toolbars. It was just a way to see if MSE catches it or allows it to install to slow down the internet.
