Sorry CommonSense 0.97 is closed beta.
And I suppose asking for a leak is against some kind of rule?

Wanton display of a lack of common sense.

I wanted to leak it but I had to agree to an ironclad NDA

A the risk of reopening a dead thread, if you have MSE, give it at least one run at the "full scan" setting.

The installation defaults to "quick scan" mode and, in my case, quick scan mode did not detect an instance of Trojan.js.Agent.fa although a subsequent "full scan" did identify and remove the infestation.

I set mine to do a weekly fullscan and rely on it to catch anything else in the meantime.

... "No, MSE will not scan emails inbound or outbound. It will watch memory if you attempt to launch an attachment." and also it is my understanding MSE scans inside your Outlook PST file for infected attachments...combined with using some common sense when opening emails...
This is consistent with what I have read today.
It is a bit vague isn't it.....when you look at Real Time scanning setup it says it scans all downloaded files and attachments....which to me says it will scan any E-mail attachments....so far on the 2 PC's I have it running on I haven't had any hits....so I guess until I do....I won't know...:)

At least I know on my Eset Security Suite if something comes in on my e-mail which is suspect as it goes straight into the Infected folded....makes it pretty obvious then.

I will email myself a virus and see what happens.

Now, all I need is a virus. Any dodgy suggestions on where I might find one?

Yes, the light is much brighter over here.

I searched for Windows 7 license - it is just that easy!
