there's something here i don't quite understand - maybe someone could enlighten me...
so, readyboost works because it uses a fast usb drive rather than slow hard drive for prefetch data.
does that mean usb drives are faster than hard drives?
if so, why aren't we all installing software and even operating systems onto usb drives?
would i really notice a benefit by permanently sticking in a usb drive, and installing big games onto it - will they load faster than from my hard drive?
or is this a really dumb idea, and i missed something obvious?
