That should be good news for MS as they will be able to run Windows 8.

<10W? Holy that is tiny, maybe it won't be long until x86(x86-64) finally loses its image of being energy inefficient, which might not be all that justifiable considering just how robust and versatile x86(x86-64) is.

my laptops cpu the AMD E-350 (1.5GHz) runs at just 18w and that INCLUDES a HD 6310 on chip. and still packs a punch better than intel HD from the same year (2009-2010???)

Nice to have that chip in future tablets :). x86 is the only way to go for productivity and school needs. Most ARM tablets IMO are just toys.

My "Intel i5 3330 with Ivy Bridge" runs at 77 Watts so running at 10 Watts is a huge change. It would sure cut down on the size of the power supply needed.

I think that is more like idle wattage, still, a great improvement.
