My friend wanted me to do some work for him and he gave me a Noontec A9 media box as payment.
It uses an Android phone UI.
The default file manager was basically useless.
To download a better file manager would have required signing up to Google (you can "stick that where the sun doesn't shine").
Luckily there was a firmware update, which included a better (traditional) file manager.
The Internet browser works OK though (I have no idea what it is - modified Chrome?).
Regarding desktop browsers, Firefox 20 should be out shortly. :)

I favor Chrome now. Although it's not as good as MS Premium was in some regards. I never could get into IE. Google has saved my business with the Word Ad's etc. so I don't mind what they do. I have nothing to loose.
How do you make increase the privacy for Chrome ? I was using Chromium, some sites I access had problems with it, I have to use Chrome on one PC
1. Pale Moon x64 (FF fork) is really fast and 98% stable. I run 42 addons, 30 scripts, and 2 plugins. This fork is NOT on the stupid FF update schedule. This is my main browser and I've used it for over a year now.
2. SRW Iron (only available x32) is REALLY, REALLY FAST! Iron is a very secure (almost paranoid) chromium based browser from Germany without all the Goo tracking or security issues. I'm running 30 Extensions and 16 scripts with the TamperMonkey extension. I'm just farting around with this one for grins.
3. IE 10 It's OK, that's all. IE 9 was worse. It's there........
I run Win7 x64 w/ 32GB ram. That's why I have absolutely no issues running all the adds.
