This rollup, KB2775511, was not offered on 3/12/13 on either of my 2 PCs. Is that the "hidden" part, one has to manually DL and install?

An enterprise hotfix rollup is available for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
I did not see it yesterday when I checked for updates, and it is not in my history either.
I'll assume that if your system is up-to-date that WU doesn't offer it. On the other hand, if you do a re-install, this is invaluable (along with the Win7 media refresh ISO).
Mine was up to date and I did not see it on WU yesterday or today. I installed it then had to re install Hud Evolution Icons as it messed them up. Not a big problem but I can see no improvement in Windows 7 with this hidden update installed.
It is not available on windows update, says so in the article. You have to download the files. Seems like it is hard to find. I put the link into Firefox and it tells me to use IE. So I fire up IE10 and get a pretty page with a globe on it.

On one of my machines IE10 does not work with this site. No offer to install the add on for the catalogue.

There's an IE addon that needs to be installed for Update Catalog to work. I've used it for years to get some drivers.
I downloaded and installed this yesterday, using IE10. It's not big.
can you post what the add on is as this will be helpful to others wanting to use the hotfix, including myself

I saw a posting from ZDNet Must-Read News today, with the following headline:
A hidden Patch Tuesday gem: A Windows 7 hotfix rollup
Even though Microsoft supposedly is done releasing service packs for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, the company is still doing hotfix rollups.
According to An enterprise hotfix rollup is available for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
"This hotfix rollup contains 90 hotfixes that were released after the release of SP1 for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. These hotfixes improve the overall performance and system reliability of Windows 7 SP1-based and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1-based computers. We recommend that you apply this hotfix rollup as part of your regular maintenance routine and build processes for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 computers."

I am a big fan of the Patch Watch column, and this patch is not yet mentioned, and so I think I will hold off a bit.
In any case, this KB2775511 does not appear in the Windows Update offerings for my machine.
I just wondered if others here have applied it and would like to comment.
Thank you.
