    that would be telling,

updates all done and working fine, i actually see improvements , next thing i may do is sort out all the crap that is installed that slow it down,
poor thing has been quite neglected.
What improvements have you noticed. I've had it on 24 hours and can't say I have noticed anything at all.

when i previously opened explorer with mr grims poison theme the window would have a slight delay taking focus and would have a 3d depth to it ( best way i can describe it)
now it loads fine no issues,i also think explorer is faster. i only had a couple of mins with it before i was kicked, kiddie bedtime routines then evening viewing by missus took over the monitor.
so i can play more tomorrow and see how it shapes up,

I remember when SP1 came out it included about 100 updates that were offered through Window Update and another 100 hotfixes. Hotfixes are not offered through WU as they normally fix an issue that is not affecting a lot of people but do affect some. I am on the road at present but will apply the fixes when I get back home.

Interesting, unless you have a lot of optionals, there are a few dozen superseded hanging around on some systems.

I just uninstalled about 25 superseded. WU has not offered tham again. I don't use defender or msrt , so it isn't those.

    Is that a recent 7 installation ?

    111 isn't bad.
