I don't know if I am in the right spot or have a clue what I am doing now but the two hotfixes have warnings on them which don't look good.
Can someone tell me if these are the right ones to download??

Comparing update counts don't mean a thing. Many of the updates apply to Office products too and there are several active versions of that. Updates will vary from one machine to the next. If you really want to know if YOU are up to date, download and run Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer (MBSA). It will let you know not only if you have all the critical and important updates but also analyze security "holes" in your system. One item I forgot to do, and was reminded by MBSA, was to disable the Guest Account.
Might not mean anything to you - but it does to me. That is why I said optional.
I thought maybe this (MBSA) would be a good thing for me to do but as usual,I like to check out programs I see suggested & when I looked at the info on this one, it pretty much tells me that it's way over my head to know how to set it up & then understand the results. Am I mis-reading or is this program geared only to people that know PC's inside & out? I was blonde before it turned gray .
Thanx.
